Association “Children First” implemented the project “Be Important!” in partnership with Children’s Home “Dugave” and Telecentar, and the implementation was financed by the City of Zagreb.
Within the project we implemented activities of group and individual counselling for girls of the girl’s group and education of digital skills for the experts and volunteers of our Association and Children’s Home “Dugave”.
After the experts empowered digital skills, they transferred their knowledge to the girls of the girl’s group. Thus girls had the opportunity to learn about the basics of photography, copyrights, portrait photography and digital storytelling.
Last Friday, after the education, the girls had the opportunity to try their skills through a fieldpractice in Maksimir Park. The final activities of this project were carried out on field assignments and joint activities.
We thank all the partners and the City of Zagreb, and special thanks to the girls of the girl’s groups who have shown that they are ready for the challenges of the digital age.
